We are recruiting for an experienced Head Receptionist to manage the customer experience as the first point of contact, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained. This role is perfect for someone who excels at communicating with others in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests; our vision is ‘to make every day feel like a holiday’.

Key Responsibilities

  • To promote and sell products and facilities to guests to support the parks expansion
  • To be proficient with the checking in system
  • To undertake the responsibilities of Duty Manager as and when required and ensuring a full handover.
  • To train all Reception team members in the correct use of all associated equipment and the application of company policies and procedures.
  • To ensure all Reception team members answer the telephone in a clear, positive and professional manner
  • To ensure that all guests and visitors to the Park are greeted and assisted appropriately and professionally.
  • To manage all issues related to the Reception team members including; issuing rotas, internal training, performance management and attendance management.
  • To undertake the recruitment and selection of all Reception team members
  • To ensure that all Reception team members are suitably trained in all security procedures including; access for contractors, key handling, CCTV and cash handling, when applicable to the Park.
  • To ensure that the reception area is clear and tidy and GDPR compliant
  • Ensure that all Reception team members are fully trained in banking, transactional and cash handling procedures.
  • To be responsible for liaising with external and internal groups about any new promotions, procedures or training provisions.
  • To control ancillary facilities such as lighting and security cameras which are linked to the main reception.
  • To work with the Reception team members to enable them to handle customer complaints, comments and diffuse any difficult customer situations whilst understanding when to involve senior personnel.
  • Ensure that detailed handovers are undertaken, recorded and monitored in the diary.
  • Ensure that all procedures relating to the handling of cash and payments are followed
  • To undertake the PDM’s for all Reception team members within the Company allocated timeframe.
  • To monitor owners outstanding accounts.
  • To coordinate and ensure the induction, training and development for all reception
