We are recruiting for an experienced Grounds Person / Warden for a live in role with accommodation provided. You will support the Park Manager in providing an outstanding service; creating a well maintained and safe environment for our customers, ensuring the Park grounds, facilities, buildings and equipment are well maintained on a day-to-day basis.
Location: Newton Hall Holiday Park, FY3 0AX
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary: £12.62 per hour
Shift pattern: Thursday to Sunday, 8am – 5pm, (where required until 7pm). Days off can be Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday. Applicants must be able to commit to one week on, two weeks off for the on call rota as well as covering annual leave and sickness.
Role overview
- Responsible for on-call phones and keys.
- Greeting out of hours customers checking in and issuing them with keys, welcome packs and guiding them to their pitch.
- Performing check-ins and responding to call outs to assist guests / owners
- Key point of contact to inform the Park Manager (and/or emergency services or other Wardens) of any incidents.
- Assist with the movement of caravans, siting, levelling and plumbing into main services, testing and final inspection of same before the caravan is handed over to the purchaser.
- Undertake pruning, strimming, mowing as well as flagging and laying turf etc.
- Maintain buildings, machinery, equipment and vehicles, drains, including daily and routine maintenance and minor repairs

Requirements:
- Previous experience moving, siting, levelling and plumbing static caravans would be desirable. Additional training will be provided.
- Abe to commit to the Warden rota and weekend working.
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Able to produce valid manual (preferably clean) driving licence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
