We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, & enthusiastic Gardener to join our team to help us create and maintain beautiful garden areas for our holiday parks. You will play an important role in enhancing the visual appeal of our park and ensuring a pleasant tranquil experience for all our visitors & wildlife. The successful applicant with have strong horticultural knowledge and experience of using handheld tools, they will create and maintain beautiful planting both perennial and seasonal around our park to a high standard. We have a grounds team who mow, maintain hedges and strim but during busy periods there will be an expectation to support them in their duties. Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Role overview
- Maintain existing lawns and gardens including planting, watering, pruning, weeding and fertilising
- Creating and maintaining new areas of beauty and seasonal displays.
- Using handtools and power tools e.g lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, secateurs for garden maintenance
- Manage pests and diseases to ensure the health and vitality of the plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Keep pathways, holiday home pitches and communal areas clean and tidy, removing any debris or litter.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper hydration for plants.
- Maintaining gardening equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener with strong knowledge of plants, shrubs, trees, greenhouses, pests and plant care is highly desirable.
- Practical knowledge of using hand tools and power tools for garden work
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Able to produce valid driving licence (essential)
- Able to produce PA1/PA6a certification (preferred)
