We are recruiting for a Bar Person to join the busy team at Windy Harbour Holiday Park. The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment taking orders on IPads and preparing drinks and will strive to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests; our vision is ‘to make every day feel like a holiday’.

Role: Bar Person (order taker / drinks preparer)

Location: Windy Harbour Yacht Club, Windy Harbour Holiday Park, FY6 8NB

Hours: 10-30 hours per week. Must be able work weekend evenings.

Salary: £12.61 per hour

Shift pattern: Thursday to Sunday nights, 7pm – 12.30am. Mid-week hours may be available in high season.

Role overview

As a front-line member of the team you will be required to respond positively to customer requests and ensure their requirements are passed to the appropriate person immediately.

  • To take drinks orders, dispense and serve as required.
  • To follow all legal and hygiene regulations when preparing orders
  • Bar service and general cleaning duties (glass collecting where required).
  • Ensure products are well stocked behind the bar
  • To provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality taking orders and preparing drinks is desirable, though training will be provided.
  • Cocktail making experience advantageous.
  • Must be aged 18 or over in order to serve alcohol.
  • Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
  • Familiarity with serving procedures, upselling strategies, and guest service excellence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented approach
