Prepare for the winter months
As winter approaches, it’ll be time to head home again, but don’t worry, it won’t be long before you can immerse yourself in the caravan life again. There are a few tasks that you should take care of before you leave to ensure that you can have a fantastic caravan experience when the season restarts.
- Turn off your water supply during colder months
- Turn off your gas/electricity in your static caravan
- Use dehumidifiers to reduce the risk of damp in your static caravan
- Drain your caravan’s pipes
Draining your caravan’s pipes is an important task as it helps to reduce the risk of freezing and further damage. At Partington’s, we provide a drainage service, which means it’s one less thing for you to think about. You can chat with a member of our team to find out more about our winter drain-down service.
