Thank you to all of the fantastic families who joined us for this year’s Partington’s Blackpool Illuminations Switch On on Friday 26th September.
Lucky owners from five of our Holiday Parks across Lancashire, the Lake District, and the Yorkshire Dales came together to share in a truly magical evening.
The highlight of the night was, of course, the big moment on Blackpool Promenade. Our winning duo, Michael and Lynne from Tarn House Holiday Park in Skipton, were randomly chosen from all of the entries to have the incredible honour of pulling the switch. With one flick, they lit up the iconic Blackpool Tower and six miles of Blackpool Illuminations in front of hundreds of excited onlookers – a memory we’re sure they’ll never forget!
The atmosphere on the seafront was electric. Families gathered to take photos, enjoy the buzz of the crowd, and watch the Tower sparkle against the night sky. For many, it was the perfect start to the autumn season and a reminder of how special it is to be part of the Partington’s Holiday Parks family.
We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who entered the competition. Your enthusiasm and support are what make events like this so special, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year. Who knows – maybe you could be the one pressing the button next time?
