Our CEO, Andrea Challis, has been visiting our holiday parks across Lancashire, the Lake District, and the Yorkshire Dales, taking the time to meet the incredible people who help make our parks such special places. From hospitality teams and receptionists to maintenance crews and support staff, it’s all about recognising the dedicated individuals who go above and beyond to create fantastic experiences for our owners and guests every day.
As Andrea continues her journey around our beautiful holiday parks, this week’s visit takes us to Newton Hall Holiday Park, where our Building and Maintenance team plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring our park remains a welcoming place for everyone.
One of the people Andrea had the pleasure of meeting is Jasmine Beardsworth, our brilliant Purchasing & Compliance Admin Assistant. Jasmine plays a key role behind the scenes, helping to keep our Building and Maintenance operations organised, efficient, and compliant. From managing purchasing processes to supporting the team with essential administration, Jasmine’s attention to detail and commitment help ensure everything is in place to keep our park looking its best.
But there’s more to Jasmine than her important role within the team – here are a few fun facts to help us get to know her better!
Length of service:
Oooh, about three years now! I’ve been in Walterz, and Housekeeping, and now I’m here.
Favourite childhood holiday:
It was probably one that I didn’t initially want to go on, but it made it all the better in the end as I had such a great time! It was actually at a Holiday Park in Abersoch, Wales. It turned out to be really, really fun!
Favourite food:
Steak, 100%! I love it, it’s like my comfort food.
What I wanted to be when I was a kid:
From about 4 to about 10 years old, in my head, I thought “I’m gonna be a popstar!” I was singing in the shower, pretending the showerhead was my microphone, that’s all I wanted to be!
