We are recruiting for a skilled Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for all our guests and visitors. This role is perfect for someone who excels at communicating with others in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests; our vision is ‘to make every day feel like a holiday’.

Role: Receptionist

Location: Newton Hall Holiday Park, Staining, FY3 0AX

Hours: 28 hours per week

Salary: £12.62 per hour

Shift pattern: Shift patterns can vary between 10.00am starts and 7pm finishes subject to business needs. Weekend working will be essential. Likely Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Flexibility to cover holidays would be advantageous.

Role overview

  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all documentation both electronic and hard copy is completed by the guest and all park.
  • Manage both digital and hard copy filing systems for all guests.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional and timely manner, addressing queries and directing external calls to the correct department.
  • Answer e-mails in a professional and timely manner.
  • Upsell facilities and services offered by the Park.
  • Assist within other departments in busy periods e.g. reception or bar to support the wider team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist or a similar role within the hospitality industry with Strong knowledge of customer service.
  • Experience of booking systems, additional training will be provided.
  • Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
  • Able to produce valid driving licence
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
