We are seeking an experienced Head Receptionist to manage our reception team at Tarn House Holiday Park. The successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, flexible and eager to learn. You will ideally have face to face experience in both managing teams and customers and excel at communicating with others in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests; our vision is ‘to make every day feel like a holiday’.
Role: Head Receptionist
Location: Tarn House Holiday Park, Skipton
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £28,932.70
Shift pattern: 9am – 5pm, likely to be Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Must be able work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all Reception team members are fully trained in banking, transactional and cash handling procedures.
- To manage all issues related to the Reception team members including; rosters, internal training, onboarding, performance management and attendance management.
- Manage front desk operations, including handling enquiries and scheduling appointments To ensure that all guests and visitors to the Park are greeted in a welcoming and professional manner and their assisted appropriately.
- To undertake the responsibilities of Duty Manager as and when required.
- To promote and sell products and facilities to guests
- Digitally maintain customer records

Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Receptionist or in a similar customer services role with experience of managing a team. Additional training will be provided.
- Confidence with cash handling
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Able to produce valid driving licence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organisation.
