As part of the Building & Maintenance team, this role is responsible for the presentation of our sales stock. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will need to be capable of delivering above and beyond standard repairs and maintenance and have an eye for detail to provide a pristine finish as an integral part of our sales process and overall customer experience.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, practical skills, and you will strive to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests; our vision is ‘to make every day feel like a holiday’.
Role: Building and Maintenance Team Member – Sales Stock
Location: Building and Maintenance division with travel to other local parts of the business where required
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am – 5pm
Salary: £15.15 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Role overview:
- Working from job cards and quality check sheets responsible for conducting inspections of caravan and lodge interiors and exteriors to identify issues such as damaged furniture and general defects.
- Carrying out repairs including laminate worktop chips, aligning cabinet and door hinges.
- Realigning trims.
- Replacing doors, door furnishings and realigning hinges.
- Replacing damaged floor coverings.
- Window and door frame repairs.
- Replacement of kitchen work surfaces.
- Repairing scratches and removal of scuffs.
- Spraying of kitchen doors.
- Knowledge of UPVC doors (essential)
- Managing your own jobs cards ensuring customer hand over dates are met.
- Ensure all jobs meet the required standard for sales stock.
- Be capable of using hand and power tools safely and competently.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar hands-on role such as joinery, fitting, maintenance or similar practical work. Additional training will be provided.
- Previous experience working within the caravan park industry preferred
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Able to produce valid full preferably clean driving licence
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
