Holiday Home Sales FAQ's

1. Why should I choose a Partington's Holiday Park?

Partington's celebrated their 79th anniversary this year, so we know a thing or two about the caravan industry!

Our love for caravans is as strong now as it ever has been, so it's safe to say you're in good hands. We have 6 Holiday Parks, so we really do have something for everyone. We are a family run and managed company, and our aim is to provide great value holidays to our customers time and time again.

2. What is the length of the season as a Holiday Home owner?

This varies subject to Park and pitch but we usually close for approximately 7 weeks during the Winter. For specific information please contact the individual Park or call our Customer Service Team on 01253 879911.

4. How many years can I keep my Holiday Home?

We are pleased to inform; we have no age restriction on our Parks. As long as you look after your Holiday Home and the relevant safety and electric tests are passed you can stay in your Holiday Home as long as you like.

If you are thinking of purchasing a lodge, there is usually a licence agreement which means there will be an age limit in place, this would all be discussed with you during your sales appointment.

5. What's included in my site fees?

Owning your own Holiday Home at a Partington's Park, gives you a base to enjoy fantastic holidays with your nearest and dearest. Partington's site fees are all inclusive of rates and water, meaning your only bills would be your gas bottles, insurance and your electricity bill.

Your site fees also include 12 annual passes for your friends and family to enjoy the Park too and the facilities that the Park has to offer.

6. Can I permanently live in my Holiday Home?

Most of our Holiday Parks are open from the 6th February – 15th December each year, many of our owners visit their Holiday Homes every weekend.

During the season our owners can visit their Holiday Homes as and when they like, however you will still need to have a primary residence as the Holiday Parks are not Residential Parks.

7. Do you offer finance?

Yes, we do offer very competitive inhouse finance. We ask for a 20% deposit on the price of your Holiday Home, finance may not be available on all our Holiday Homes for sale, however this will be discussed with you during your sales appointment.

Our Holiday Home sales page will give you an indicator as to how much the monthly repayments may be if you decided finance was the best option for you.

8. How much will my gas and electric bill cost?

One gas bottle will last anything from 147 – 367 hours, so it does depend on how often you use your Holiday Home. You will receive an electric bill twice a year from our Reception Office, you are on your own meter so again it does depend on how often you visit your Holiday Home.

9. I am interested in purchasing a Holiday Home but what if it's not for me?

Most of our Parks offer a 'try before you buy' scheme. Simply book a holiday and a sales appointment at your chosen Park, our sales team will give you a full tour of the Park and the facilities on offer and discuss the costs involved with purchasing.

If you decide to purchase your dream Holiday Home, we will refund the cost of your holiday back to you. We believe this will give you a good indicator as to whether Holiday Home life is for you.
